Shattered Alley is an Intermediate - Advanced feral dog roleplay. We have a 200 word minimum for every in character post. We have been around for a couple years; and [rerere] re-opened in the beginning of February of 2008. You are free to join a pack of your choice or roam the streets of Phereio City as a rouge. Although, there is a twist in this beautiful setting. Phereio suffered a horrible earthquake, and is now shaken to its limits. Few humans still colonize in small parts of the suburbs, but everywhere else: disaster has written it's name.

 I Can Take It!

Small birds took to flight in the early morning mist. The light dew that hung so delicately on the vibrant stalks of grass pattered to the earthen floor. In the wake of the fleeting sound of wings pounding at the air, a chorus of swears could be heard. Somewhere in the thick tangle of brush, damp and knotted amongst some vines, a very disgruntled bitch found herself stuck. Snapping viciously at the green tendrils that wrapped so tightly around her limbs, the Chihuahua, now growing frustrated, let out a raspy growl. "Oh, come on!" Her voice was tired, having a gravelly affect. Despite her growing weariness, her fiery attitude was apparent. Ripping away at what held her, the tiny dog was finally freed, after a flurry of more curses.

Snorting her disgust to the terrain, Sixx headed towards a small brook. She hadn't any real idea were it lay, yet the soft sounds as the water ran over the time worn stones and the pungent smell of wet earth was familiar. Even in an unwelcoming environment, Sixxty-Sixx had the skills to tackle her portion of it. Grumbling as she went, her silky coat having been reduced to a rumpled mess, the miniature beast cursed herself for not having been born larger. "If you hadn't made me like this, I wouldn't have such a hard time just walking!" She yapped, her doe like eyes squinted in an irritable fashion as she seemed to yell at the sky. "Oh, but I'll show you! I can take it!"

Yet, in all reality, Sixx wasn't sure if she really could. It wasn't uncommon for her threats to be empty. Her frown curving deeper into her stunted maw, the chihuahua picked up her pace. But as her body began to sink further into the ground with each brisk step, a thick layer of mud coating her delicate paws, her spirits rose. The creek must not be too far off. She thought, her mind momentarily distracted from her undying self loathing.

Sure enough, a moment later Sixx was poking her head out of the thick wall of brush that stood just out of reach of the lazy current. Glancing around her surroundings only briefly, the minuscule bitch disregarded much of the scenery. To most, it would be breathtaking. To Sixx, it was a nuisance. Padding smoothly to a shallow part of the stream, she dipped her head lightly to its surface, her long pink tongue lapping at it gently. Maybe this doesn't suck so bad...

Eating wings to make me tame, the bind of heaven is my shame.

This land was his. This luscious forest that seemed utterly teeming with life at times. But he had to admit, the births of every new dawn over the almost featureless realm... It made everything seem peaceful, quiet, tranquil, and the irony of it all amused him greatly. This place was a land of conflict, a place where any two creatures that crossed one another's path was a guarantee of bloodshed, another chance to instill chaos. This was the thicket, and it was his home, his domain, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Perhaps that was exaggeration though, for the dog had merely found a sunny patch and curled up there for the time being, pretending as if territorial thoughts would ward off disturbance. In all truth, two beings could walk past one another without so much as a passing glance- unless one of them was Amatsu Mikaboshi.

For now, the creature slept, curled up, looking like a particularly fluffy rug from afar. Just in the middle of the nowhere, completely open to attack, but this didn't bother him. The tawny coat that concealed his skin rose and fell with each breath of the sleeping dog. He slept contentedly, but he caught the smallest echo of a voice, coming of as rather irate. Amatsu opened one milky brown eye, and a floppy, furred ear shot straight up and swiveled toward the far off bank of the river. He could just make out a form on the river's bank, and again caught the little voice, followed by what sounded like a challenge. This greatly interested him.

The other terra-cotta colored eye snapped open, and stared down at the black form on the horizon. Amatsu uncurled his slender body and reluctantly stood to his full height of three and a quarter feet. The infant sun twinkled off of the fur that covered most of his lithe body; his underbelly seemed to be covered in softer, snow color, which the light from the sun dared to dance off of. Amatsu directed his attention to the figure on the bank and began a trek toward it, slightly smirking to himself It was rare he came across a someone shorter.

"A runt? What hole'd this poor fuck climb out of to end up here?"

Amatsu kept both eyes and ears focused on the steadily growing dot on the horizon, eventually forming into the shape of a dog, a chihuahua at that. The thought of such a small dog daring to go out on its own seemed strange to him, as if it thought she could take on someone larger. The few scratches clinging to her legs might have portrayed a look of toughness on her, and she was obviously relying on speed more than brute force, like him. To a dog he was remotely interested him, the shrimp might have gained a respect point or two. But this little fact meant nothing to him, as of now this stranger was of no worth or value to him or to his motives, a mere plaything at best.

Please tell me again, I've forgotten all
The wind told us when you and I were small,
For there must be something I'm missing.
Please tell me again..
Tell me again.
